"Oh what a place! The interior is amazing: stuffed animals, bears, tons of skulls on the walls - very atmospheric! The waitress (a lady with short dark hair) was very kind and nice. We took 3 different soups, hot wine, a boar meat and a bear meat! Then we also had papanasi and we fell in love - what a tasty dessert! The overall experience is very positive, the food is tasty and the stuff - nice."

"This is for sure the best restaurant in Sinaia, I dare to say best in all Prahova Valley. Nowhere in Europe can you eat bear , wild boar , venison (deer) , etc. at prices below 20 euro. The food is cooked exceptionally, the staff is very friendly and the they bring the food really fast. I am not sure about their English language ability , but you have google translate. It is a must to visit if you are in the area."

"We chose this restaurant because it’s close to Peles Castle… The prices aren’t bad… Four of us ate for about €45… the portions were sufficient… Although the food could have been better… I had grilled sirloin, and it tasted like nothing… It wasn’t accompanied by anything either… If you want salad or potatoes, you have to order it separately… It’s a restaurant that does its job… But it’s nothing special… If I were to return to that area… I would try another restaurant… although I repeat, the experience wasn’t bad…"

"A small but very atmospheric restaurant. It really looks as a hunter's place and the menu reflects this as well. You will find a variety of game dishes here, accompanied with good choice of Romanian wines. The staff was friendly and service was very fast."

The decor is stunning and the food is great - we had the bear sausages which were superb and the wild boar stew was also excellent. The deep snow outside added to the ambience. Maybe not for the faint hearted, but there is always McDonalds in town for those who are squeamish"
